Hero sizes (your spec): Desktop hero = 1920x1080 or 1920x800 (landscape). Mobile hero = 800x1200 (portrait). So a desktop hero needs to be at least 1920px wide and landscape; a mobile hero at least 800x1200 and portrait. Landscape 1600 to 1919px is borderline (a touch under the 1920 target). Anything smaller blurs. Branded graphics are section blocks, not photo heroes. Every card is flagged DESKTOP / MOBILE / borderline / not.
